Le Groupe Gaudreault Inc. is one of the most important private passenger carriers in Quebec. The company celebrated its 50 years of existence in 2001; it now possesses a fleet of more than 604 vehicles and thrives from the input of approximately 750 employees.

The Gaudreault family owns the company (Manon and Martin). These family members surrounded themselves with a dynamic team of administrators who endow the company with the know-how it requires to grow.

Le Groupe Gaudreault offers a wide range of bus transportation: be it by luxury coach buses, intercity and urban coach buses, school buses and paratransit services, Le Groupe Gaudreault Inc. transports more than 100,000 people daily.

Le Groupe has offices throughout Quebec, more precisely in Repentigny, Joliette, Trois-Rivières,Drummondville, Montréal and Terrebonne.

The company is an accredited representative of the SAAQ since 1995, and is enlisted to perform mechanical inspections of heavy vehicles.

In 1998, Le Groupe acquired Autobus Thomas Inc., a school bus distributor located in Drummondville.

In addition to this acquisition, the company created a bodyshop center in Repentigny, creating 8 new jobs in the region.

Since December 2000, Le Groupe extended its intercity and urban transportation services to include the cities of Le Gardeur and Charlemagne. Moreover, since January 1st, 2001, the company handles transportation on behalf of the CIT Le Portage, which includes service between the municipalities of Joliette, its surrounding areas, intermediary municipalities and Montreal. Since January 1st, 2002, the company also provides this service on behalf of the CIT des Moulins, for the municipalities of Terrebonne, Mascouche, its surrounding areas, intermediary municipalities and Montreal. The increment of these new services in the Lanaudière region created a significant number of jobs.

As in Repentigny and Joliette, Terrebonne's site garage was set up to handle the mechanic maintenance of buses and is equipped with a fully automated washing system for vehicles.

Le Groupe Gaudreault Inc. maximizes its efforts to answer the transportation needs of its clientele, particularly in the region of Lanaudière and, in a more general fashion, in Quebec, Canada and the United States.
